The house that love built
When we started building our house, we had no idea just how much interest there would be, and how many people would contribute to building it.

We sat down a few weeks ago and easily racked up 80 people who have helped build our house - and that is SO FAR!! It has been one of the most special things about building - having our friends and family, and many people who we had never met before, help us build, and contribute in so many special ways. We are definetly blessed!

Now that we have our certificate of occupancy and are living in our home, the pressure is off, however we do have quite a bit of work to do before the house is 'complete' so if you are keen on getting some hands-on experience in straw bale/house building, there are still some opportunities coming up. And we are also have many contacts and know of others in different areas who are building or who will be, and we can put you in touch with them.
