It has been a very different weather situation over the weekend with cool weather turning rainy and dumping about 50mm of rain on us. I say "about" because our rain guage only goes up to 35mm. It's the biggest downpour we've had since we moved out this way a couple of years ago. As a result of the sodden ground and ongoing rain I didn't get into much rendering today. It was just me on site except for a wonderful lunch visit from Natasha.

I mixed up my tasks today, finishing off the wonderful work done yesterday by Aygun, Mel and Katrina with a final sponging in the studio. It took longer than I expected but the final results are really good. That room is now completely complete! I then put up some more insulation in our bedroom, walk-in robe and lounge. Then it was back to first coating a small part of the hall which never did get done before. Apparently it's important to do the first coat before the 2nd or 3rd. Don't know why.

So in more than one way it was a muddy day, and a long day, but a good day.
