Sun shiny day

It was crisp and cool this morning at 7am at Possumtail Run - so beautiful. It soon got warmer, and warmer, but always the wind to cool us down. Not one cloud did we see today. We've had a ball - we attached 29 joists today, and have only 15 to go. We do love just hanging out together - this afternoon we were sitting precariously up on the highest joists together, hammering our joists into position, smiling and singing. Managed some dancing too today.

I often say to Peter - 'Can you believe this is where we will be living'? We are so so fortunate. Even though it's very obvious, we do pinch ourselves that we really are building our own house with our own hands - us - complete novices!

We need days like today to even up our crappy miserable times! All part of the journey - big sleeps tonight and a day off tomorrow. Yay!

Great mental images you create with your writing, both of you.
What an inspiration, amazing being able to fulfill one of the basic human needs (shelter) with your own hands. Like growing your own food but much bigger. xxx

Wonderful to know you've the time and inclination for singing and dancing! It is great to see that the battle of the joists is close to being won. It is a fascinating journey and one which we are so happy to be able to share with you through this superb website. Keep up the great work!
