And I want it now. It's easy to wish that our fairy godmothers would sprinkle some magic dust on our house and make it complete. But we sure are growing in the character stakes. The last few days since we returned from New Zealand have certainly illuminated the way forward. The joist layout is more complicated than I had previously calculated and it's surely the hardest puzzle I've had to tackle before. Well at least it looks like that right now.

Once we have systems set up and we're doing the work it really can be a lot of fun and very satisfying. When we're trying to see the answer to something we have no previous experience with it can be stressful, no, call it exhilarating! Yes, that sounds better. We sure have had a few exhilarating days. Natasha has become an expert ambidextrous hammerer and today learnt how to use a circular saw. Excellent! Now that there's a clearer task ahead for the next few days I'm looking forward to the work.
