I sat down with our building consultant Brian this afternoon in Bendigo. We went through everything that we could think of to get me through until the roofing phase. There's now a lot more that I understand. I can visualise how things will fit together now. I am feeling freshly empowered. What a relief and a boost. Time to order more timber. We also went though a few new ideas he has had with regard to bushfire-protecting our house. After all, we do live next to Long Forest. I've always thought Long Forest sounds like a place where Robin Hood and his band of frightfully naughty chaps might hang out. Fortunately the only mocking laughter I hear emanating from there is from Kookaburras.
