It has been great having electricity on our build for most of the project. It allows me to operate things like the circular saw, the plane, the drop saw, the drill and of course the toasted sandwich maker. The latter is an idea of Natasha's that really helps on a cold day. There's nothing like hot cheese on a chilly, windy day. Yes, another very windy day, it's been gale force all week and I'd like a break please.
Yesterday was interrupted by rain which means I still haven't finished the bottom boxing let alone the intermediate boxing. I'm getting short on time now. Once again, angles complicate things but with the boxing there are also many posts to incorporate. It's kinda fun though. Although it will be a bit harder to carry timber around the site after today when we'll have our straw bales delivered. We had between 5-10mm of rain yesterday, the timing isn't great either. Hopefully the site won't be a muddy mess and the truck can just drive in and out with ease. Finally we get to see our beautiful straw bales!
