It was great being out there with Peter today. I have been really tired of late, and I didn't think I would make it through the day, but the fresh air, and the sheer joy of just being at our land building, was enough to keep me going for most of the day.
Peter put up some massive rafters today, some 9 metres long, and I mainly cleaned up the site. Nails, pieces of timber and saw dust were the main items. It was quite satisfying, as the whole place looks spiffy and organised. I know it makes a big difference to Peter having my company there, even though most of what he was doing was a 'one person job'. We are a third through the rafters after today, which is encouraging, and with the south verandah posts and beams complete, it feels like we are progressing again. A day off tomorrow for some r & r, then back into the swing on Monday. More fresh air, excellent!
