I reckon it's inevitable that things would start annoying us (or should I say me!). The pile of rocks on the property, yet to be moved into a better spot, the left over roofing material laying in a pile ready to be recycled, the timber to be sorted into usable and non-usable, the finishing off in the ensuite... and the list goes on!
The good news is that Peter only has 2 more days of contracting work, and then we can get stuck into some organising and building work. In a way, I'm glad I find it annoying, otherwise we might get complacent and not do anything.
Almost every night, I stand on the deck to listen to the night sounds, and look at the sky. Life's simple pleasures. I have only watched a few hours of TV since we moved here - it just doesn't have the appeal it once did. The view out the windows and Dylan keep me content and entertained. It's a lovely way to be, and it means we get to bed early, and get up early. I like this new pace and life style!
I'm also starting to re-vamp the website and plan some more rendering days. We've had a few people ask when we are having the next rendering weekends, so we have scheduled it and put it up on the site. We are looking forward to being able to track the performance of the house as well, for example in cold weather, how warm is it inside? So stay tuned for some more website updates, and we'll try and write our blogs more regularly!
