Well before we started to build our house we bought our Hilux ute
in anticipation of building someday. Buying a vehicle that had no room inside
for luggage but plenty of room outside for everything else was a statement of
intent to build, as it was our only vehicle and not the most practical for some
things. But it was totally practical for so much and allowed us a versatility
that we have found invaluable. So I’m a bit sad that we’re selling it.
It’s too much for our bank accounts to bear the cost of
insuring and registering 2 vehicles so we’re putting our famous (to us, at
least) Toyota Hilux Ute up for sale. In its time it has hauled many large loads
of timber, many small loads of all sorts, trays of gravel and sand, pulled the
trailer carrying our feature poles and much more. And shifted house for us
twice!
So it’s on the market. It’s given us heaps of cheap running
as it runs on LPG. Need a ute? Click here for details. It’s very useful. And chicks dig a bloke in a
ute. Apparently. I think blokes dig a chick in a ute too. I reckon it’s got a
few more straw bale builds left in it yet.
