I'm an environmentalist.  I believe strongly that we need to use fewer of the Earth's resources and this means doing so more cleverly.  I also believe that Formula One is an awesome sport and that anything trying to get in the way of me watching a race is a serious nuisance.  Just ask Natasha (note: I'm not suggesting that Natasha is a nuisance).

I'm not sure how to reconcile these two beliefs but I do know that there's a race in Melbourne this year and I'm going to be there.  General Admission is OK (I got a ticket for my birthday / Christmas )but I have a hankering to get closer to the action.  In fact it's my dream.  If anyone reading this has any contacts, ideas, a spare corporate seat or abuse regarding this plea then drop a comment on the blog straight away or email me ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ).  My gratefulness will depend on the nature of your comment but I do like feedback.

I'm going back to mulling over the contradictions in my life.  The next blog will be about our house, I promise.

PS Apologies to anyone who read the title thinking it would be about solar powered cars - although I did see one zooming around the track at last years grand prix.
